I had the honor of DJing for quite possibly the most foul-mouthed couple I have ever been hired to entertain…
It. Was. AWESOME!
I ran my camera throughout the reception and edited the footage into the following ‘film’. They didn’t have a videographer, so I hope they will accept this as my gift to them.
Congrats, David & Shayna!
Jason & Kelli were kind enough to let me test out my newest camera between my DJ duties at their wedding.
I captured this teaser using a DJI Osmo camera. I was only able to get a few shots of the reception. The bride requested a copy of the video, so I was obliged to actually edit the footage. I’m glad I did; I’m rather proud of the synchronization I was able to achieve between the song and the video!
Stay tuned for more video clips from September/October weddings…
A recent industrial/construction session to capture images of a paving job. While on site, the facility management asked for photos of the entire campus. How could I refuse?!
Indeed, there are multiple truths to that famous saying. So why not provide multiple pictures?
AV@Altitude has elevated its image capture capabilities to an advanced level by adding an ‘Inspire 1’ to the aerial fleet. Where the trusted Phantom 4 has been exceptional in compact functionality, the Inspire now offers expansion and workload options. Nothing can stop us now!
Case in point- a recent session required image captures in high winds which limited the maneuverability of the Phantom. Adjustments had to be made in order to complete the desired assignment with as much versatility in angles and views as possible. The Inspire wouldn’t have been impacted by the wind in the slightest! Furthermore, the camera angles and flight paths are exponentially increased by the 360 degree camera movement functionality.
The following video is a brief example of what the Inspire is capable of:
*NOTE: Inspire is flying continuously in one direction without physically turning its frame.
The Inspire will also be deployed for more advanced Search/Rescue applications where heat or night vision is required. Special camera packages can be mounted to this UAV to expand the range of viewing options which can be essential in public safety incidents.
The Phantom is still critical to our daily operations. The extended flight times alone make it more cost effective for the average client booking. With 25min of flight time per battery, the Phantom can stay in the air for longer video recordings while the Inspire needs to return for battery swaps within 18min. For more advanced captures where the Inspire is necessary, the Phantom can be used to scout and more accurately plan the session in order reduce the number of flights required by the Inspire.
Whether it is a short flyover or a highly technical/precise flight, AV@Altitude has everything necessary to complete the task!
This service is for companies or individuals who need a FAA licensed commercial sUAV pilot for short-term situations.
Following the established Federal small unmanned aircraft regulations, I can offer myself as a ‘remote pilot in command’ and assist in keeping your flight in compliance with federal, state and local laws. Whether it is standing by as you fly for your business or flying my own UAVs for you, the end result is to have a successful and safe event.
A planning meeting, at no charge, is necessary to guarantee I follow the FAA regulations and know what’s actually going on with the proposed shoot. I will need to discuss where you’re flying, what you are flying and how you plan to fly IN ADVANCE; this is non-negotiable.
Fees begin once all parties are onsite for the planned flight. I will provide an equipment assessment, safety review and pre-flight checklists (required). In the event your sUAV or equipment are unsuitable for the planned flight, alternative options can be discussed. I will bring my own equipment as a precaution.
The rates below are for the Denver Metro and North Metro areas (Fort Collins to Littleton, Golden/Boulder to Aurora). Beyond the metro areas, a surcharge for gas & travel time TO the location will be added.
Remote Pilot in Command [RPIC] (not in direct control): $50/HR
Pilot in Command [PIC] (in direct control & using my own equipment): $150/HR
A new commercial client requested an aerial capture for 3.3 acres of property in Park County near Kenosha Pass. Absolutely amazing views…
If you think aerial imagery has no potential use for your business, take a moment to look at a few examples of real-world applications. Aerial imagery is not just for pretty pictures…
[This video of Augusta National Golf Course was captured on a helicopter. You can get the same, if not BETTER views with a UAV for a FRACTION OF THE COST!]
